Day by day 

Same old routine

Living our lives

But not to the extreme

Suffering in jobs

Pointless they seem

Walking through life like a zombie

In trance

Never stepping out of the comfort zone

Not trying to take a chance

Wondering how you got here

How to get out

The same problems are strewn about

Like a game of chess with no new moves

A never ending drive

Down the same old route

Not changing routine 

While hoping the situation improves

Better off staying 

Most people are

Zombies of modern day they're displaying

Completely oblivious

Non-decaying
