My heart is aching

My mind is racing

Please tell me what I did wrong

I don’t mean to burden you

I just want to nurture you

This is the beginning of all my fears

Please don’t ignore me

It makes me so lonely

Choking down my tears

My strength is depleting

My soul is bleeding

I don’t know if I can hold on

Walking alone

To the path that takes me home

Leaving the fate in your hands

I’ll sit here and ponder

While I wait for you to wander

Back into the clear
