Bodies

Bodies lay beneath the earth

Rotting corpses adorned in suits

Skeletons with no real worth

Underneath the fading stones

Names adorned but hardly read

All the bodies no more than forgotten bones

Silent memories long ago remembered

Lying beneath stones, cold and rotten

Some lay dead by sticks and stones

Others died of broken bones

Lovers quarrels ending bad

Guns and roses they did have

Children lost from mothers embrace

All but thrown from gods grace

Husbands dead from wounded battle

Buried without a true place

Some cut from life before their time

Some died just on time

Others fought the good fight

Although deaths grasp was far too tight

Dead, gone and buried now

All that's left is rotting flesh

Bones and hair forever remain

Never will they see daylight again
