Temptation
He’s gently calling out to her
He wants to calm her tears
Temptation is too much for her
As she gives in to all her fears
She goes to get him gingerly
From his hiding place for all these years
Excitement surges through her veins
He’s gently cradled in her embrace
She gazes upon the clean steel blade
So void of her own bloodstains
His edge is sharp
Pressed against her skin
He whispers soothing melodies
That lulls her mind from within
Her body numb, she starts to press
The blade against her wrist
Coating the floor like a mist
The pain he gives is soothing her
Deep into a sleep
On the floor her body lay
As silent as the midnight creeps
He’s lying down beside her
Peace has he achieved
Her life is gone
Her blood does seep
Deep into the floor
She cries no more
For her soul he will reap
